Neon Leo is a multi-award-winning local buy-or-rent designer and preloved fashion store founded by Mandy Weetch & Abigail North in 2023. Neon Leo is now owned & run by Mandy Weetch and is located at 7 Market Row, Saffron Walden.
Our mission is to help women elevate their style through sustainable fashion choices. When you enter their store, you'll be greeted with a beautiful selection of clothing (from daily basics to exceptional event wear), sequins, glitter balls, amazing art and much more.
Customers can buy or rent clothing from Celia B, Queens Of Archive, Esthè, Woo Woo Boutique, Vintage designer or find a preloved treat from Me&Em, Rixo or Ganni.
Unlike other rental platforms, Neon Leo is a communal wardrobe where customers can try on items at their Saffron Walden store before renting them. Aside from buying or renting beautiful clothes, Neon Leo also provides an on-trend curated edit of preloved clothing, shoes, and accessories available for purchase. They also offer one-to-one styling advice and support in a welcoming and positive environment. Visiting the store is something any fashion lover will want to experience.
The idea for Neon Leo came about in the summer of 2022, and the company was created and founded by Mandy Weetch and Abi North. It was born out of their longing and need for local, sustainable fashion options and exceptional preloved clothing. After launching in March 2023 to a roaring success, the need for a physical shop became apparent, and after an extensive search, their flagship store, Neon Leo at No 7 Market Row, was born.
"We wanted to build a community that encourages female empowerment through slow fashion. But, more importantly, Neon Leo is also about driving people to make sustainable fashion choices. Buying an outfit for a party or wedding that you only wear once generates carbon emissions equal to driving to Manchester and back in a diesel car. Fast fashion can not continue as it is, and we are passionate about being part of the change! We want people to realise that you can be just as fabulous shopping slow and sustainably. We're encouraging women to invest in the idea that you can borrow, buy and share fabulous clothes at an affordable price.”

Neon Leo stocks a range of brands to buy or rent, from amazing pre-loved high-street pieces to high-end independent designers, including Queens of Archive, Celia B, Scream Pretty, Woo Woo Boutique and Esthè. Rentals start at £25 per weekend.

PRE-LOVED INFORMATION
For pre-loved items, we offer a percentage (30%) of the sale to the pre-loved owner. We will assess each item and then assign a pre-loved value to it. It will then be put up for sale in our shop. We will itemise all items we take from you, and at the end of each month we will pay you the monies owed for those that have sold. If, after 6 months, an item has not sold, we will return the item(s) to you or offer them to a charity shop. RENTAL CANCELLATION POLICY:
Once your rental has been confirmed and paid for, you can cancel it via email and receive a full refund up to 28 days before the start of the rental period. This refund may take up to 8 business days, depending on your bank.
If you wish to cancel your order less than 28 days before your rental period begins, you will not be issued a refund, but you will receive a credit for the amount (minus any shipping costs).
If you cancel your order less than 48 hours before the start of your rental period, we will be unable to issue a refund or credit note.
This will not affect your statutory rights, but please do get in touch if you experience any issues.
